Our History
Since the 1980s, Cirebon has been a hub for rattan furniture production, exporting bulk products worldwide. CV Terra Putra Perkasa carries on this tradition, blending expertise with modern techniques to create high-quality rattan furniture.
Rattan Processing
Before becoming furniture, rattan canes undergo careful processing. Small diameter canes are dried in the sun and smoked, while larger canes are boiled in oil for preservation. Rattan, unlike bamboo, is a climbing plant harvested from the forest floor after several years of growth. The process of steam bending creates more durable products than traditional blow torch bending.

Finishing is a critical stage to ensure the final quality of our furniture. We use spray guns powered by compressed air to apply even and durable finishes, enhancing the beauty and longevity of each piece.
